As part of a university strategic project, Transforming Teaching Together@Manchester, we’re currently piloting a new student feedback tool with 11 areas across the University. You should have been given information about the pilot if you are in one of these areas:
We hope that if you are part of one of the above areas of the University you will take the opportunity to use this new way of feeding back. This really is an opportunity for you to have your say. To help you find your way around the new system please take a look at the guidance document:
Unitu is a web based feedback platform you can access to post feedback about your experience; sharing problems, giving praise, asking questions and suggesting new ideas. This means you don’t have to wait for Unit Surveys, institutional surveys or local committees or meetings to tell us about your experiences. Structured around the Student Rep system, Unitu is supported by UMSU.
In the student-only area you can post feedback and assign it as
Your fellow student can then add comments and vote on feedback, the more people engage with an entry the more the University can identify issues that are affecting a number of students.
Your student reps are responsible for acknowledging feedback in the student-only area, and escalating it where appropriate to a staff board for action.
The Unitu platform auto generates a ‘Together We Changed’ page containing a summary of all positive changes actioned via the platform, so you know we’re listening.
