The Jisc Discovery Tool is an interactive resource available to all students. By completing a self-assessment questionnaire, you can gain valuable insights into your current capabilities and access personalised resources to help you grow.

The digital capabilities framework contains six elements that you will receive personalised insights about based on the questionnaire and your proficiency with each one. You will then receive advice and resources to maximise your potential in each element.

You can play an active part in promoting digital capabilities with your student peers by becoming a Digital Capabilities Rep with the Students’ Union.
As a Digital Capabilities Rep, you will be able to develop your own digital skills while also promoting digital literacy and supporting your peers and staff. You’ll be a key advocate for enhancing digital capabilities in curriculum design and delivery.
